I generally like Salomon's range of trail running gear, and these shoes are no exception. I wanted something that was a little less aggressive than their trail running shoes, that could also handle gentle trails & city-to-trail transitions.
These shoes fit the bill. They are comfortable, the lacing system is proven & works, and they have a smooth ride, both on city asphalt as well as dirt trails. I haven't tested them on anything gnarly, but then again, that wasn't their intended use when I purchased them.
Lengthwise, they fit the same as all my other Salomon shoes. However, this model feels wider, and definitely has a lot more room in the toe box. My one gripe with Salomon in the past was that I would find a lot of their models to be slightly narrow. But this shoe is perfect!

I have owned several pairs of Solomon shoes. I wanted a lighter shoes for the summer. Salomon has never disappointed. Great running shoe. Good support and lots of cushion. Salomon's quality is very good compared to other brands. The lace system give for a snug fit.

I love buying $110 shoes for $71! These shoes fit very true to size, unless you have narrow feet, then I would suggest a different brand. They are comfortble, very lightweight and look awesome. I get a lot of compliments on the shoes. The zip laces are pretty cool too!
