In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. If you want the best, it'll cost you... These Asics are the flagship product of the company. I was running marathons with the Kinetic 2 and 3s, until I finally decided to invest in the best. Keep in mind that I tried Nike, Adidas, Newton and Saucony. None came close to my trusty Asics... Running is one of the most inexpensive sports out there, so don't go cheap on your boots.

I don't care what your brand loyalty is. I've worn Nike for 20 years, and goodbye to that. These are the best shoes I have ever put on, and it isn't even close. You owe it to your feet, which have carried you this far, to at least try these on. 2 pair, please.

This is a amazing running shoe! it also turns head with the bright different colors, not boring like most nice runing shoes. Keep up the awesome colors ASICS. I had a pair of ASICS back in boot camp and never had any problems with my feet. Got out and wanted the fashion statement nikes and started having problems with my feet. Went back to these and will never go back to nike or any other brand for my running shoe. I run about 40 MPW so i need a shoe that can keep up and not need to be replaced once a month.
